Finger Lickin' Fridays: Holy Cow.

(Photo and recipe courtesy of A Big Mouthful)

Holy cow have we been bad at blogging! We know and we're sorry. Truly. Wedding-invitation season has been kicking our butts (in a good way) and blogging has taken a beating. Yipes!

So, while I don't have a good juicy paper-licious post for you today, I do have a good, juicy burger for Finger Lickin' Friday! How delish does a caramelized onion burger sound about now? Sounds good to me. I'm thinking a burger and a beer on the docks tonight is just what the doctor ordered.

My doctor believes in hamburger therapy. That's why I love her.

Have a great weekend, y'all. Chat next week with some exciting news!

Festiv colors + perfect patterns + party wares.

Could there be a surer sign of the warm months to come? Jonathan Adler's new line of paper delicacies just shout "Summer is almost here - start planning your parties!!" and we couldn't be happier about that. From the adorable wrapping paper and gift enclosures to the super cute note blocks and amazing paper-orb party decorations - this line has got your summer fetes totally covered.

We just got the shipment a week ago and things are already flying out the doors. Come outfit yourself with patterned note cards and colorful pens to get in touch with pals from camp and snag some snazzy gifts for the summer's "hostess with the most-ess." You'll be glad you did!

Petite Pica

Whitney and I both have a super soft spot for birth announcements. They are probably our favorite types of projects to work on; we just can't get enough. Maybe it's the cute, smooshy, cuddly, delicious-smelling babies that we make them for? No, that can't be it.

In addition to doing some pretty awesome custom-designed letterpress announcements, we also have the true pleasure of representing some of the gosh-darn-it cutest albums of birth announcements around. One of the above-mentioned albums is the Bambino album from Pica Press. Holy chubby-cheeks are the Pica designs adorable.

I absolutely love the bright, bold colors, rustic printing and mix of sweet/traditional and hip/contemporary designs. Another great thing about Pica Press? These adorbs flat-printed pieces won't break the bank and still deliver an awww-inducing WOW! to your friends and family. Perfect, right?

Stay tuned for posts about our other favorite birth announcement albums including designs from Alee & Press, Sugarcube Press and Smock!

Happy weekend, y'all!

It's time to celebrate our favorite women: our MOMS. That's right, Mother's Day is only 3 weeks away! We have some pretty amazing Mother's Day cards to help you tell your mom just how fab and loved she is.

Carrot Face.

Guess who got into the leftover carrot cake while I ran an errand?

This guy:

He has guilty all over his face. Well, he has cream cheese frosting all over his face, at least.

Sorry our posts have been sporadic at best recently. We're riding the wave of wedding invitation orders at the moment and loving every minute of it, but it's eaten up most of our time for blogging. Bummer. On the plus side - we have LOTS of fun custom projects on press right now and then being photographed later this month which means tons of awesome posts coming soon.

We promise our regular blogging will be back in action soon. Enjoy the day!
