4th Birthday Bash: The Re-Cap
I am so excited to be able to share a few images from our 4th Birthday Bash!
Our store was stocked to the brim with gorgeous goodies from Smock and Jenna, from the Smock team, joined us and gave lessons in pinwheel-making all evening long.
Erin from Wild Orchid Baking Co. kept our bellies full with her incredible cupcakes. And, satisfying our sweet-tooth tendencies, Laurie from Lolly Candy put together an adorable spread of gummies and chocolates while the team at The Goldenrod provided their signature saltwater taffy. Finally, our pals at The Juicery kept us cool and hydrated with their brand new artisan ice pops.
We were thrilled to be able to give away 3 amazing door prizes including custom letterpress stationery from Smock, a Smock goodie-box and a gift certificate to Gus & Ruby Letterpress. It's always such fun to be able to give back to all our fabulous customers in some small way.
Thank you so very much to all of you who came out for the event! We had an absolute blast celebrating with so many of you. And, a big thank you to Megan from Emilie Inc. Photography for capturing all the fun. It was a joyful night full of good friends, great crafts and sweet treats; we are lucky gals, indeed.

Lindsay & Evan's Ethereal Camp Invitations
We are so excited to see Lindsay & Evan's wedding featured on June Bug Weddings today! We had such a blast working with these guys last summer for their August nuptials. Kate Martin of Beautiful Days introduced us to the New York couple and Samantha and I immediately fell in love with the dreamy, ethereal wedding they were planning at Camp Takajo in Naples, Maine. Lindsay's father owns the camp and Evan was a camper as a child. They didn't know each other way back when but Lindsay's dad introduced them as adults and from the beginning it was meant to be. It was a no brainer that they would be married under the pine trees in front of their closest friends and family at the camp they both call home.
For the invitation design, we used playful fonts and justified type to infuse playfulness and a neutral, dreamy color palette to balance it all out. Fun wording for the events and reply cards gave nod to the couple's fun-loving personalities. All the cards were housed in a folio tied with twine and mailed in a metallic envelope lined with a gorgeous, soft-shimmer birch-tree liner. The effect was a charming bundle that evoked a sweet, ethereal vibe while still conveying the fun, casual atmosphere of summer camp.
For the wedding day, we had the pleasure of crafting some coordinating paper details that included a simple, lovely program and one of the more romantic pieces we've ever done. Both Lindsay & Evan wrote a list of reasons/things they love about one another along with a sincere note of thanks to their guests; the result was a love letter, of sorts, to each other and to everyone who has supported them along the way. We were all a little misty-eyed after reading this sweet piece.
It was such a blast working with such kind and considerate clients and their team of stellar vendors. Happy almost-one-year, Lindsay & Evan! Here's to many, many more :)
