So Thankful

It's almost Turkey Time, folks. And that means we've been racing around like mad merchandising and prepping the store for a flurry of activity during Black Friday & Small Business Saturday weekend and the holiday season to follow. About this time every year, though, we take a break from the frenzy and stop to reflect on the year past and our incredible good fortune to be able to run this little shop.

We have so much to be thankful for again this year. We've welcomed two sweet babies into our Gus & Ruby family; Portsmouth continues to be a dynamic, supportive community; we have the most incredible, dedicated and talented staff (you guys ROCK!). And, last but far from least, you, our amazing clients, friends and families, have again shown us support, kindness and inspiration day in and day out. We are truly humbled and blessed and our little shop would never be what it is without each and every one of you.

So, as you gobble up some good food tomorrow and as you reflect and give thanks for the good things your life, please know that we will be thinking of you and feeling thankful for the many ways you've touched our lives.

PS: We will be closing up early today at 4PM so that we can all get on the road to our own holiday celebrations. But, we'll be extending our store hours for the holiday season to help with all your shopping needs starting this Friday! Please see the hours below. And, of course, we're happy to ship to you or run goods out to your car if you are unable to stop in.
